The problem with the internet is that there is so much to look at, so much inspiration, so many ideas going around. I get sucked into one thing this week and the next week I’m onto something else. The problem with this is that I never truly get to carry through with one problem. New problems arise and my interest shifts. Not that I’ve lost interest in the previous problem. I just moved on, prematurely.
The solution is to first realize the problem. That’s done. Next is to keep in mind when devouring information online: would this information benefit what I’m currently working on? If so, in what way? If not, keep it in the back of my mind so that it doesn’t distract my current problem, but not so far back so I’m able to recall it when needed. The key is that I must be absolutely clear on what I need and what I want. Wait, that last part…
